Glastender GW24 Underbar Glasswasher

If you run a bar or other establishment with limited space and need to wash a lot of glassware quickly the Glastender GW24 Underbar Glasswasher should be at the top of your list. The unit can wash 49 2-½” diameter glasses (10” max glass height) in a single 2-minute and 15-second cycle. Coming in at 24” wide and 24” from front to back, the 30-¾” tall unit is designed to fit under standard height bars.

The Glastender GW24 Underbar Glasswasher combines the rotary conveyor of their larger line with the space-saving design of fill and dump washers. This unit does not have a dedicated water heater which means it can be powered off a normal wall socket. The rinse cycle is completed with cool water which leaves glassware cool to the touch and also keeps steam from rising from the unit when a load of freshly washed glasses is removed. An integrated drainboard on the top cover makes unloading the glasswasher very convenient while eliminating the need for a dedicated drying table which would take up more space.

The unit boasts computer-controlled management of the cycles and is easy to use with the control panel. Detergent, sanitizer and rinse aid are precisely dispensed using peristaltic pumps leaving glassware perfectly cleaned while using just the right amount of chemicals.

The cabinet, floor, tanks, and legs are all made from easy to clean and highly durable stainless steel. The chemical containers sit under the machine’s side notch which keeps them easy to access and within the unit’s small footprint. For added convenience, the chemical containers can be held in an optional slide-out rack for even simpler checking and replacement of chemicals.

The unit requires ½” plumbing for both hot and cold water and is connected to the device with ⅜” FMPT fittings. The on-site water pressure must be between 25 PSI and 100 PSI and the hot water must be between 130ºF and 150ºF for proper operation. Wastewater is drained from the system with a 1-½ tailpiece and should be connected to an open type floor drain.

This unit comes with a 6-foot long grounded cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug and only uses 3.5 amps of 120/60/1-ph power. It is recommended that the unit has its own dedicated 15.0 amp circuit.
