Glastender GWS66 Underbar Glass Washing Assembly

The  Glastender GWS66 Underbar Glass Washing Assembly is a 3-in-1 combo unit that can take care of all of your underbar glassware washing needs. Taking care of glassware is completely streamlined by this unit. Glassware can be easily processed from the wet waste sink to the glasswasher and out onto the drainboard and glassrack storage. At peak capacity, this unit can be used to wash and store around 1,300 2-½” glasses in one hour. All work surfaces are flush at 30” in height and the total footprint is 24” front to rear and 66” wide.

The SWB-18-DW wet waste sink is where the cleaning process starts. A hot and cold water gooseneck faucet is ship mounted and easy to use for quickly rinsing off glassware. The 6” deep 9-¼” by 11-½” sink bowl features a perforated lift-out plastic strainer for removing wet waste. Wet waste is easily disposed of with the integrated trash chute hole which leads to the included 28-½” quart trash bin. The trash bin is accessed from a lockable front hinged door. A 7” high integrated backsplash keeps water from splashing onto the wall.

At the heart of the GWS66 Underbar Glass Washing Assembly is the GW24 glasswasher which can wash a load of 49 2-½” diameter glasses (max height of 10”) in a single wash cycle which takes less than 3 minutes. The integrated drainboard in the cover is the perfect place to place glasses after being rinsed in the wet waste sink before loading them into the unit. The computer-controlled wash cycles use just the right amount of chemicals thanks to the precise peristaltic pumps, and chemicals can be easily checked and replaced easily with the included chemical storage slide-out rack.

The final stage in the glassware washing station is the DBGR-24-RS drainboard glassrack with roll-out shelves. Freshly washed glasses from the glasswasher can be placed onto the drainboard for complete drying. An integrated 7” backsplash makes sure water doesn’t damage the wall behind the unit. After drying, glassware can be loaded into glassracks (glassracks not included) that can be stored in 2 roll-out shelves.

All exposed parts of the Glastender GWS66 Underbar Glass Washing Assembly are made from aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain stainless steel which will maintain its appearance even after years of heavy use. All units can be easily kept level with adjustable bullet feet.

This unit requires ½” hot and cold water plumbing, the faucet requires ⅜” sink leads while the glasswasher uses ⅜” FMPT fittings. For the glasswasher to properly operate the water pressure must be between 25 PSI and 100 PSI while the hot water should be between 130ºF and 150ºF. An open floor drain is required for the glasswasher’s 1-½” tailpiece, the ½” clear vinyl drain line from the drainboard can also feed into the open floor drain. The wet waste sink uses a 1-½” I.P.S. threaded drain.

The glasswasher comes with a 6-foot long grounded cord with a NEMA 5-16-P plug and uses 3.5 amps of  120v/60/1-ph power. It should be connected to its own dedicated 15.0 amp circuit.
