Glastender GT-18+1 Glasswasher Station

The Glastender GT-18+1 Glasswasher Station is a front-to-back pass-thru unit that is capable of washing 720 2-½” diameter glasses per hour. This unit can be loaded through its door from the back and deliver clean glasses to the front for a bar. Rotary glasswashers are what put Glastender on the map, they have been building and refining their designs since 1969. This particular base model is tried and tested has been in production for over 25 years.

The unit comes standard with 2 polypropylene racks that are 16” in diameter. Having 2 racks can really expedite glass washing since one rack can be processed while the other is in a wash cycle. For even more convenience additional racks are available including special stemware models and a dish rack too.

A simple control panel with a digital temperature readout is used to operate the unit. The Glastender GT-18+1 Glasswasher Station does not have a water heater which lowers the power requirements. The unit uses hot water from onsite plumbing and a microprocesssor checks the water temperature to make sure it is at 120°F for washing a load.  Around 2-½ gallons of water is used for each load. During the wash cycle glassware is cleaned with a ⅙ HP recirculating pump that delivers water to the glasses through 15 spray nozzles. Detergent, sanitizer and rinse aid are automatically added to the water with peristaltic pumps.

The unit is mostly made up of stainless steel parts including the cabinet which is 20 gauge, Floor and tanks which are 18 gauge, legs and their mounting brackets which are 16 gauge and the drive wheel which is 11 gauge. The unit stands 38-½” tall and requires 1” of clearance at the top. The footprint is 18-⅛” wide and 41-1/16” from front to back with the door closed. Cleaning and maintenance is simple with a removable top, glass rack, side panels, and drive wheel.

The Glastender GT-18+1 Glasswasher Station requires ½” plumbing for its water supply with a ⅜” FMPT fitting.  Onsite water pressure must be between 25 PSI and 100PSI. For proper cleaning, the supply water must be between 120°F and 150°F. For maximum drainage from the included 1-½” tailpiece, an open type floor drain is recommended. Rinse aid, sanitizer, and detergent bottles are stored externally, the chemical tubing leads are 6 feet long for remote storage options. A clip-on chemical rail that holds 3 1-gallon bottles is available and can be ordered separately. The unit stands on 7-½” tall tubular legs and can be leveled with 4 adjustable bullet feet.
